he needs the money for an overseas trip, i'd be guessing the finance company would be lending him the spending money/air fares, not repossessing his bike.

this is correct. shipping out monday morning for 3 months. have the air ticket but no spending cash so either sell bike or get loan and sell bike when get back.

had it maybe a couple years & spent a lot of money on it too. these are a really good bike & pretty rapid also from memory. they had similar performance to the R1 of the same time. good luck with the sale, it's a lot of bike for the money.
