What you buying one you push and stand on or one you sit on. (Just joking)
Dont get one from China get a good Italian one, you might pay a bit more but you will have a better ride.

A good question, but you need to ask yourself what you intend to do with it and how far you want to go. If you are going to use it to commute a short distance each day then probably a 50cc number will do. If your commute is a distance like mine used to be (Waiuku to Penrose each day, 107km round trip) then something to keep up with traffic that is comfortable like my Vespa GT200.

Rule of thumb is to stay away from the cheap chinese scoots as you get what you pay for. Otherwise go shopping and test ride a few, see how they feel for comfort, fit you for size and perform for your purpose.
