are 4 into 1 exhausts any good for getting more power? I know alot of people do it to their 1100s. I quiet like the back with 2 exhausts though....

Exhaust..........airfilter big bore kit.........heaps of things you can do with that motor..really only limited by your wallet.May well want to do the suspenders/brakes as well.........:Punk: modding is good.

Full yoshi kit was the trick - they actually implemented it on the 'yoshi' model 97ish onwards. 1100VW?

will a k&n airfilter make much diference? am thinking of getting one from ebay. US$40 plus hipping so roughly NZ$80-NZ$100 which I think is a cheap upgrade. next will be the exhaust

change sprockets. Not sure which way round it is, i think its more teeth on the rear.

yip, more teeth at the back will most certainly help

isnt it smaller cogs on the back will make it go faster? I know thats the case with my old push bike

Madness

It will give you greater torque (the stuff that makes the front wheel light), and a slightly lower top-speed. A smaller rear sprocket will make you go faster but make it harder to wheelie.

Germany has the turbo kits, Yoshi cams, Yoshi pipes (or Vance n Hines), PC3, 1130 weisco kit and some fluffy dice are the way to go

The bike should have a K/N air filter aready in it as I sold it with it still in there . Had Twin Yoshy's on it when I had it but I think the next owner sold them as he didn't like how loud it was ?? . Shame I sold all the go fast bits off it before I sold her as it was plenty fast enough . Did 10.2 sec 1/4's & 182mph flying which was bloody quick for a 220+kg road bike on road rubber back in 1994 was good enough to be the quickest in the Naki for afew years & winner of the Dyno shoot out 2 ys running . Have found the original carb needles for the 40mm carbs but there is 2 sets so will have to figure out which are FZ1000 ones & which are GSXR1100 , will let you know & send to you .

no..one to fit your bike..on the sprocket there should be a number....44 or something close..go check it out and post it on here. also..check what chain it is..must have a number like 530 or something on one of the links.

is in the shop again. getting exhaust gaskets put onit. also when giving it gas at about half throttle it coughs & spluters then all the power comes on & is very scary. goes sideways & pulls wheelies in 3rd gear. hmm the mind wonders.....

If your going sideways and wheelying in 3rd gear i dont think you need more power mate. You'd be better off just saving up and buying any version of the GSXR1000, it will be cheaper and a better bike in the long run.
