View Full Version : Most likely to be...

Think back to high school and your graduation photo/comment etc... What did they say you were most likely to be?

I was thinking about it today as I am teaching year 3's and 4's and with some of them you can tell exactly what they are going to be like when they grow up.

So... what was your "most likely to be" and has it come true?

Most likely to become a hired hitman.

Probably more down to the farking awful photo they insisted on using than anything to do with temperament and so on.

Since then I've been a baker, an occupational psychologist, a lab scientist in Clinical Pathology and an IT consultant specialising in software testing. Funny how life works out innit? :)

It's quite ironic really, my English teacher said I'd "never amount to anything" and now I make a living from the written word.

Why, do you think I slag off cops in a professional manner?

Graduate? Stupid americanisms. You don't graduate school here. You leave when you reach 16 or the end of Year13.
Didn't have that 'Most likely to....' when I finished formal schooling. However, life is learning, so in some ways I never left school. Perhaps my 'graduation' comment will be RIP?

Say wha... ?
We didn't have those.

But IF we did, I'm sure the comment woulda said: "You are a Dick."

I *do* like what they told my father:
"There's no way you're going to pass School Certificate, boy. But if by some fluke you DO manage to scrape through, don't bother coming back - you'll just be wasting your time and ours!"

My father must've "scraped through" as he completed a B Sc at Auckland University, a Masters with Honours at Oxford, and a Ph D at Canberra.

I don't think he went back to see the teacher at Pukekohe High to report his progress...

Me? Most likely to have a volatile marriage.

Never worked that one out. I didn't spend all my school days philandering around -- not good looking enough!

In fact, out of all my school mates, I've been the one to hold down the longest relationship, with no flings or group sex interspersed :D

Well, me, I was always the kid who the teachers despaired of ever finding a way to harness his abilities. The one who got C grades because he couldn't be arsed doing any work, etc.

I'm pretty much still doing it, bullshitting my way through life and pulling all-nighters to catch up when necessary.

And then there was this one time, when I was a wee 'un, an old Chinese friend of a friend looked at my head, poked and prodded it excitedly, measured bits of my face with his fingers, and excitedly told me that I was going to grow up to be very wealthy.

So I'm doing my best not to disappoint him...

Mmn, that just about sums up me too! I was the skinny little white kid in a school with an 80% Maori population, and they didn't believe in streaming. That meant I pretty much kept my head down and didn't say boo to a goose (how appropriate, considering what I ride now!) because if I did, I'd have the crap beaten out of me later for making them look dumb!

I used to draw spot-on caricatures of the teachers which got me into trouble more than once. In the sixth form I changed schools and really enjoyed the new one so I did quite well. Unfortunately in the seventh form a guy I fancied had study when I had art history so I would wag and play cards with him in the common room! My 'friends' would point out my absence to our ancient art teacher, who would glance around the room and say "no, I am sure she was here before, I'll mark her here on the roll". They were so pissed off! Mind you, if I had done a tiny bit more work, I would have passed Bursary art history instead of getting 49%!

I'm not sure what they would have voted me most likely at school, but probably something to do with talking as I was always being told off for talking in class in the sixth and seventh forms. And what do I do for a living? I'm a journalist, so maybe they were right!

I've done some university study since and because I am paying for it, I make sure I do enough to pass!

I think that the Glory Hole has always had some poetic and mysterious quality (especially at the end of some little brick road [ refer: " the sweetest thing" with Cameron Diaz...Hilarious!]), however too often dismissed for more "showy" forms of fellacio, nonetheless the ones performed after the act of anal penetration (although full points to the chick who can pull that one off).

Now short of checking out mad Antais' antics (lots of fun that too), I'd say fetishes can be quite entertaining, don't you think?

Alright then....Everyone just witnessed I was pushed into this!

Now, my friends would tell me: WAY too many details here...

But darn it.. I love leather!!!:Punk:

LOLOL -that's the worst you can do? It's a good start I'll admit, and dare I ask - do I detect the voice of experience creeping through?

There's nothing wrong with leather, only how it's used (as Peter Plumley Walker would be able to attest... had he survived his wee "session").

As for Glory holes - anyone good at cartoons? I reckon you could have Lorrena Bobbit on the other side of a Glory Hole with a knife in one hand - cooking a sausage sizzle with the other LOLOL...

I don't understand the Antias' antics comment though - you able to explain?

LOLOL....U cheeky sod! I prefer to let you guess as to my personal experiences. We shall remain hypothetical on these....

I think we may be in the wrong thread for this (interesting) subject. So me think we could start something here. I just hope it hasn't been done before, as I haven't been around for long enough to know better :innocent:
