I don't have the income I'd like... I won't go into details coz it's hard enough swallowing my pride and asking for work as I am doing.
As an employer you'll wanna know what I can do or what my skills are or what quals I've got...

What work do I want? Work that pays... I'm not going to work for monkey nuts. After tax is taken out I wanna clear $100-$150 minimum. I'll consider almost anything.
What are my skills? Well I am the son of a builder (SOB) so I've grown up building things... I also have some welding and mechanical skills (NOT Qualified) I have worked in a few different places so have a good knowledge of a variety of things. I have my Full motorcycle licence class 6F, my full HT class 2F (not trailer), and full car licence class 1F. I had my forklift cert (current) & I've had experience driving heavy plant & am pretty good at turning my hand to most things.
No quals apart from those I've mentioned. I'm a big bugger and don't mind working hard. I'll work as many hours as I need to, too.

Restrictions? I have a full-time job during the week so I prefer not to work too many hours coz I need to be able to function during normal working hours. But I will work from, say, 7pm Friday night til...? A guy has gotta get some rest...

If you've got some leads or know of anything ... let me know. I shit you not... I need the $$

CV and pone number etc available on request PM for details...

I was thinking that. Bouncers get about $12/hour and do about 6 hours a night so really there aint a lot there. But if I combined that with working Saturday it could be ok.

Do you have room for a lodger.....supplements income without working.

I get $170 inc a week from my lodger, hardly see him.........have you considered Family Tax Credit.....it is not a Benefit so easy on the mind.

Renting a room is tax free.

In all I get $1010 net each month ontop of my day job salary.......

I am not a bludger....just making the most and it means I have time for me and Nats when I have her etc.

$4....geeze.......

What about home work using computer....see lots of adverts about that.....

I'll just shut up now......I still owe you a beer so could be a costly night if I carry on

bar staff in town. easy work, good fun. find a busy bar, not one down a side alley. or, go down the waterfront and see if they have any weekend work (bar/cafe) on the ferries - nice way to spend an 8 hour shift going to picton and back....

I did THAT job (driver for an escort agency). Should write a book about all the shit I saw - ranging from terrifying, to downright perverted and just plain sad :weep:

How is asking for work swallowing your pride, we all work and had to find it.
I reckon you would be best served utilising your HT licence, there is a ton of work for drivers at the moment especially on the weekends when regular drivers dont want to work weekends , or have used up there hours already.
Contact the big companies like Halls, NZL, Mainfreight etc etc, I guarantee one of them will snap you up ! expect nothing less than about $17.00 a hour.
Driving is cool, no stress and no boss yelling at you (most of the time)
You will get a job EASY AS !!

Quick search here from TM jobs, contact them even if its not weekend work thats listed okay dude

Col give me a pm with your phone No as I am always looking for kitchen staff at the hospital, pays $11.27 per hour at the moment + penal rates of T1.5 for 1st 3 hours on Sat then double time for rest of weekend. Pay rate is going up to just over $14ph but not sure when it comes in, will be backdated.
Work isnt flash but when you consider double time on Sun pay rate is good for doing non skilled work.

Try the Hirequip type co's.
They are normally looking for staff in weekends to hire gear you should be familiar with to home handymen sorts & you get to play with Bobcats, Diggers & other building gear.
