so after reading through a couple of other threads about tyres, im still not much further ahead with what to choose. i do mostly trail / enduro as well as some mx riding, i ride a CR250, from what i read Metzeler MC4s and 5s are both great and shit at the same time and michelin S12s are awesome. from my reading up, it looks to me that the S12 is a soft compound tyre, which by my figuring, will last me about 10 seconds on any kind of hardish surface,

which brings me to the M12, are these any good?

and finally, where is the cheapest known place in the auckland area to aquire tyres?

cheers guys

M12's and 10's are good tyres and get really good wear... shinko's believe it or not are quite highly rated by the serious offroad dudes aswell...

I just put a new bridgestone 202 on a couple of weeks ago, and its really good, hooks up real well and hasn't torn any knobs off from the few gravel roads i've been on so far.

Cycletreads is where i go for my tyres, Barrys point road (north shore)
good price- will put them on for free, if you buy them.
