That video is about the best one I've seen. I wonder if those two guys are still alive, treating a public road like a race track...

What? It is a race track?

I've seen pictures of the bike some time ago, silver frame and a 6 into one I think. Has anyone got a link to some pictures of the bike?

That has to be one of the best sounds in the motorcycle world....so rich and smooth from low rpms yet sounds like a rip snorting M3 engine with about 2000rpm more to play with when it gets going!!....

It does have a distinctive sound. Reminds me of one of the 1960s F1 3-litre era Ferrari V12s. Perhaps a similar firing pattern, except halved, or something.

I saw that vid while I was browsing the 'Tube for CBX1000 stuff -- that's where I saw the vid that I posted in another thread of a CBX racing offroad: http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=52104 .

The guy going around IoM seems like a bit of a twat, with the big text flashing up on screen, and he's not exactly riding courteously either. Looks exciting, though :D
