Hi, sorry to hijack the thread. But I recently got a 96 250 hornet, and my oil light comes on as I turn the key from off to on (motor is not running), but when i turn it on, it goes away. Is it the same as handle6's yamaha?

Its a lamp test, so you can be surre the bulb has not blown. All OK unless it comes on while you are riding.
