Friday 15th June 2007 Round 2 VMCC
Test Day Manfeild Weather, Lines and Gearing.
The weather was very cold and so was the track it was very slippery on the white lines, I hit them with the back wheel and it slid out… that was fun it gave me a crashing feeling, Alex on the 250ss crashed on the hair pin (Castrol) when it started raining at the end of the day, the rain didn’t slow me down I still when hard just not on as hard on the corners.
Getting the lines again wasn’t to hard, I tried flow the 125GP, 250ss and the fast 150, I got most of the my lines off them well I tried and I ended up with the good lines at the end of the day I mostly went out wide and come in hard to the corner then putting my shoulder and my keen down, I was leaning over so much I was getting the foot peg down now I’ve got no foot slider.
Bike gearing was a 15 tooth on the font, now we had power vales’ working now the bike was giving full revs the whole time I didn’t matter what gear I was in it just stayed at 13000 revs I told my dad that, and I told him to change it to a 16 tooth (my pit bitch for the day) I went back out and it was prefect gearing for the track prefect acceleration coming out of the corner and prefect speed on the straight now I was flying on the track I felt so fast.

Race Day Getting time down, Getting lines spot on, getting
The prefect start, to become number 1
Getting times down wasn’t easy dropped 4sec off my qualifying times and I was going hard, each lap I dropped time, my qualifying lap was 1:34.412 and my 1 race time was 1:33.281 and 2 race was 1:32.911 and 3 race was 1:31.495, dad told me to get down to 1:30 I didn’t but I got close, next time I will get better than 1:30, I’m only 2sec behind the leader.
Getting the lines spot on, well after the qualifying lap I got every corner spot on prefect, no stuff ups just coming out of the corners I need to get on the power sooner so I can get the times down the hair pin was bad sometimes but I found the right line and I stayed on it, I just need to get on the power sooner.
Getting the prefect start, the first race we had I had stuffed up, I let the clutch out to fast and jumped a head before the flag went down so I stuff that up, the 2 race start was better I was coming 5th in to the corner, then I pasted the a 250 on the corner around the outside and the 3 start was the bested I had ever done I was 2ed to the 1st corner off the start line 1st was the 250 we got to the corner and I over took him on the outside and I was coming first for the first time in my life, we got up to the hair pin when around the hair pin a bit slower than most times and Avalon pasted me on the inside. I came 3rd in that race.
To become number 1, I need to get my lines spot on, times down, a prefect start and get the power on sooner coming out of the corners and ill be 1st!!!!!!
