binned it today, with a pillion!
had my ex on the back after teaching her how to ride, and was heading down t straight at about 60kph with sidewinder on his VTR.
fortunately i was on my NXR..not my "other bike"
we were riding with our elbows crossed over-(basically touching)
my bar hit his hand, so he accelerated and hit the end of my bar, causing a massive counter steer.
the rear slid out fast, and i did my best to correct it, but it was wet, i just dropped, and so did the ex...
i remember hearing the clutch lever snap, and hearing my helmet slide along the ground (chipseal)
a few thoughts went through my head-thank fuck im wearing my nitro! (seen rob's HJC?)
also, thank fuck im wearing a technic leather jacket and not my quasi!
my ex was about as hurt as me, i just helped her up, im glad i hooked her up with some gear for the learning.
the bike was ok, not too bad-thank fuck its a honda dirt bike and not a hyosung!
my body is hurt, but my spirits are not dampened.
its the price you pay for dicking around, and doing stunts.
sidewinder is unfortunately fine.

This wasn't an accident. You were both riding in a manner that suggests you were trying to crash. And you succeeded. Well done. Just next time, dont ride like that with a pillion, wait until you are solo. You Idiot.

Carver is a dumbass redneck, quite obviously. :weird: Its not how good someone rides, a monkey with a labotomy can ride fast and hard, but the situational awareness and common sense kicks in somewhere along the evolutional level that Carver is yet to attain.
That you rode like that on the road makes you a cunt sir, that you rode like that with a pillion makes you a completely selfish cunt and they are the worst kind. :finger:
I hope I dont see you on a ride, and if I do, I'll avoid you like the plague unless you've grown up by then.

Freak accident like last years MotoGP when first lap first corner one of the Ducati's did a REALLY BIG stoppie... not freak accident as in it was completely unexpected...
I'm not saying Carver is an idiot rider, I'm just saying he should ride a bit more responsibly... I think the funniest thing about this crash, they had just made up a n00b training video... Although at this stage I'm starting to not think very highly of this video, and it will probably be advisable to do everything but watch it...

I'd prefer to see the one in the future that shows you and your mates split apart and spread across the road. Idolising that shit just represents how much a bunch of losers you and your homo mates are. I dont hope anything like that, but the way you are going, you are heading for an inevitable end. I'd just prefer it happen sooner so you dont influnce other riders via this site with doing stupid shit on the open road. If you were doing this on a closed road/track/closed car pard it'd be different, but you blatantly have no issue doing this and promoting it on open roads. Somewhere along the way you missed some important lessons, but dont worry, they arent far away. We'll see how public you want it when it happens.

The wheelie at the end is me in a closed car park, so I hope there isn't any problems with that?
Can you please find out where a closed road is somewhere in Hamilton as I'd definitely prefer to keep out of the publics way...
I didn't miss any lessons... I'm just from South Africa, and I'm quite proud that I made it all the way to New Zealand without becoming a useless road statistic on South African soil... NZ roads are a lot safer and quiter :)

Anyone now whose singing in this clip, it sounds sweet.
It's from Roadrunner United - All-Star Collection... very good album...
Track #10: "No Way Out" – 3:27
Daryl Palumbo, vocals(Glassjaw,Head Automatica)
Matt Baumbach, guitar, bass(ex-Vision of Disorder)
Joey Jordison, drums, bass (Slipknot, Murderdolls)
Junkie XL, programming, synths
Yes, that's right: Joey Jordison from Slipknot actually wrote this beautiful song, and Daryl Palumbo from Head Automatica (remember the song: Beating Heart Baby?) Well, that's who's singing...

2. We haven't found any decent non-public roads
3. I'm not promoting this "how to ride" video... advertising on the subject will be done when the video is released, no further comments.

hey guys....good to be back with my good friends the kiwi biker crew...
i guess its the ol "let he who is without sin cast the first stone" kinda thing..
i thought i would let all you concerned members like temp BJ know that i am making a speedy recovery.
also sidewinder now goes out with my ex...all happy endings eh?
if anything this has stiffened my resolve to perfect what i do, therefore lessening the chance of a crash...

Good to have you back :)
Glad you're getting that new helmet sorted out... the Nitro has seen better days. Good luck at perfecting 'what you do' and if there is anything I can do to help, let me know :p

Sorry, but to me, advice would be: I'm sure you're having fun, but please try keep it safe. There are enough accidents without people trying to do clever stuff on their bikes.
Sorry if I came back a bit abusive, but saying I don't have any brain cells and then calling that advice... doesn't seem to make any sense... no hard feelings?
*And to all other KB readers that have had to put up with these crappy posts by me, I apologise... have a good day...

Takes a bit of skill unlike putting a big arse rear sprocket on and revving the nuts off your bike till the front lifts 2 inches for 10m and calling it a wheelie.

Let's not compare dick sizes ok? I'm sure you're more than capable of doing wheelies on that ZX9R, while I'm still learning on an ancient 400 that was difficult to clutch up in 1st (and somehow all 2 inches of one of my pathetic little wheelies managed to scrape up the tail light; fortunately I didn't crash, not that you'd care by the sounds of it)...

I dont think it was that you were practising some stunting that has got you offside with many people, rather I think it is your attitude, or perhaps your percieved attitude that has made you both targets for grief.
It is onething to practise your stunting (and in my opinion a large carpark with no one to hurt was a good place to start), but it is another all together to broadcast some of the stupid crap you are doing on the net and then get all defensive and arguementative when you are picked up on it, the female pillion being a case in point, and swapping pillions while moving on a public road being another (and that is NOT a stunt!)
There is a time and a place for everything, and you can almost get away with saying anything, the key is in HOW you say it.
You have given some rough responses to some of the more respected members here (and to be fair we don't know how they were dealt with, ie you may have dealt with them very well via PM, we are unable to judge) but it would be a good idea to take what they are saying on-board for analysis rather than getting offended by it.
Over and out.

Cheer's.Mike :niceone: Indeed those were some skills, when you have no neutral light it pays to watch that last bit as you let the clutch out and find it is still in gear and the bike falls over   I wasn't to worried it came done on the bar end on the curb.
To top it off it was a 250/Newbie ride from Hamilton so legal speeds all day then get pinged doing 123kmh on the way back to Auckland.
The rash was already there from the slide down the road on the Mercer/22 turn off corner in the wet. :third:
It doesn't really matter how long you have been riding,$hit happens, sometimes it is self inflicted.
