and also xbox, xbox 360, Playstation1 and Playstation 2. But the trusty N64 still gets heaps of use. Some of the games are such classics. And the 4 player mode is just brilliant on a big TV. Yes I admit I still play them with my kids. The other consoles, nah, does not hold the same interest for me.
Oh, and if U start having problems when pushing in the cartlidge (does not start the game all the time). Nothing a squirt of CRC won't fix for 1/2 a year!

The problem I have with it is the lack of games. I already have Mario 64(which is great), Goldeneye never interested me. Fifa I still need to track down but what else? The problem I have is I resent paying $40-50 for a 10 year old cartridge. Particularly after multiplayer games.
Though will be in the market for a Wii shortly I think

Muti player games that we have are:
2 Player Games
- Star Wars Episode 1 Racer. (Some good racing there)
- GT64 Car racing. (Not in the "top ten" list)
- 1080 Snow boarding (OK if U like the snow)
- Wave Racer (Fast jet ski racing)
- V-Rally (Some tricky rally driving, but fast)
- NHL PRO99 (Ice hockey as good as it gets on a console. I do prefer doing the real thing thou)
4 Player Games
- 007 Golden Eye. (OK I suppose if U like running around and shooting)
- Super Smash Bros. (My kids favorite. U smash each other. I get bored with it (Probably because they beat me all the time) )
- Bajo-Tooie (Run around and try to pick up stuff and be faster then the others. U can also beat them)
- Mario Party 2 (Throw a dice and move your charachter then win one of the odd competitions against the others. Not bad)
- Donkey Kong (A little like Banjo-Tooie, a bunch of monkies)
- Mario Kart (What a game!!! Race tracks and be fastest. But wait, there is more. You pick up stuff U can use against the others. And there is heaps of technique in the driving. Honestly!!!)
- Diddy Kong Racing (Similar to Mario Kart, but different enuf to make it equally fun)
There U go. :Punk:

Perfect Dark was by far the greatest N64 game of all time (Didn't make "Gamespots" greatest list, but it was the highest user-rated N64 game on the website).
4-Player versus 8 computer bots totally OWNED! Defend the fort type stuff, it was great.

If I had 3 friends I would do it all again.. ;/

This is true. Always reminded me of Ghost in the Shell.
Goldeneye was considered pretty ground breaking when it first came out. I remember playing it at a friend's house, and being blown away by it. There was nothing else, bar System Shock (and that was its own pack of cards) to match it for cinematic structure and flow. Very cool.
I played it on an emulator recently and it was shit.

They're not actually too bad when emulated if you have the right plugins.
* 1964 emulator* (http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/n64/1964.html) (Nin-ten sixty-four)
* DarkMan_DInput* (http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/n64/n64plugins.html) - The controller plugin which is pre-configured for GoldenEye/PerfectDark
* Roms<a href="http://romhustler.net/roms/n64/p">*</a>
... and that's all you need (plus some serious computer skills to get it all working), not bad for sub-30mb.
It's all legal as long as you actually own the Roms ;D!
But to be honest, the major factor in the pwnage of Perfect Dark and GoldenEye was the multiplayer... (It might actually be possible to play PerfectDark over the net with 1964 though)

We still have our N64 and there is a lot to like about it...
But you have forgotten Nintendos greatest game and character ever - Zelda! Bloody brilliant fun!
Best family fun game? Mario carts and the 4 player snowboarding one...
Cheers

<hints id="hah_hints"></hints>It wasn't the quality of the emulation, it's just the game seemed crap to me now. I (personally) don't think it's aged so well, despite being truly awesome when it first came out.
