Do people still play DoD, the non-source version (i.e. Half-life 1)?
Just wondering as I'm getting a copy of HL soon and I miss DoD, where I get a rifle that kills people, unlike bloody Battlefield lol

No, they don't.
If you want a rifle that kills people, get BF1942, then install the `Forgotten Hope' mod. You will be happy then.

I was a huge DoD player for years, and still play DoD Source fairly regularly. There is still quite a big DoD 1.3 community in NZ so you won't be alone. :)

DOD no. BF occasionally. Im looking forward to Enemy Territory Quake Wars. Im not sure you will like it though, the rifle action wont be the same as DOD or BF.

<hints id="hah_hints"></hints>Agreed. So listen to a fellow OF player and try BF1942 with the Forgotten Hope mod. It's a total conversion, completely different.
