I have treated myself to some awesome little WFO led arrow indicators but unfortunately they dont seem to want to flash :( The other great thing is they all come on and stay on when you indicate in either direction.

I have tried swapping the wiring (none work) and connecting from 1 (with the rest original) to all 4 led and nothing seems to make any difference. Yet when I replace with the original they all tick away perfectly.

WHAT IS HAPPENING??? I have read something about inline resistors or non-load sensitive relays but I have not been able to find out any details.

Any advice much appreciated :)

Go to a BNT (they have Hella and Tridon gear iirc) and get yourself a non load sensitive electronic flasher relay. The one I'm using was a Tridon, LED04 I think was the number. Take the two existing indicator relays wires and plug them into it, and wire the earth to an earth (it has a lug for a small bolt or screw). Once you've done that, no matter what combination of indicators you run, you'll be sweet. You of course lose the whole indicator died so they flash faster (even no indicators at all and it still clicks at the same speed :)), but with LED indicators, that's not a major hassle providing your wiring standard is tight :)

/edit: If I was Cycletreads or wherever, I'd be buying them in bulk for $25 each and hawking them with every set of LED indicators for $40, I'm not sure why they don't (yet?).

That has to be one of the best answers I have ever had :first:

Thanks a million, I will do exactly that tomorrow :)
