Hi Folks,

Hey, forgive me if I've got this all wrong, but aren't Suzuki meant to have a couple of bikes in MotoGP this season? I watched the last 20 or so laps of the Motegi race yesterday and didn't see any mention of a Suzuki, or Erv or Hopper or Kenny Jnr for that matter.

Any news for us anyone?

Slightly :Offtopic: but, what is up with Caparossi/Biaggi, crashed in both the last two races, on or before the first corner if I remember correctly. At least the second last race he made it up the field some.

Hey if we can't win it the proper way we have to resort to any other means necessary. It looks to me like the Duc was sacrificed for the greater good, Right Linda? :msn-wink:

So Loris Capirossi should be banned for next race, right? After all didnt Hopkins miss a race last year after a similiar incident?

I'm with him. I think both incidents are racing incidents, but given last year's punitive response, it would be only fair for Loris to have his time on the bench. Or do they only punish newbies with giant ears?

.
To be honest, I couldn't figure out exactly what happened - there were just bikes everywhere. I'm SURE it wouldn't have been Loris's fault. After all, I wear his official MotoGP merchandise bandana......

Lois came in too hot just like a certain person last year, same place same lap. One gets a one race ban, the other . . .

I didn't see last years race so comments are solely on Sundays race. But it looked like a typical first corner racing accident to me. No malice or negligence. So I don't see why Lois should be banned*. Maybe they made the judgement on Hopkins was treated a little harsher due to his lack of experience, I don't know. We'd have to ask the officials that. And as I say I didn't see the race so couldn't say.

Disclaimer: I am NOT a ducati fan.

I watched that race and it occured to me why the Kwaka doesn't do well... it's average. I mean it's not the fastest (Honda/Duc), nor the best handling (Yamaha). That leaves it no place on the track to pass anything.

Given the opportunity well it was on Sunday = podium.

I think Suzuki are in the same boat.

Whaddya reckon?

Tamada (SP?) did very well at the previous round in Estoril, and this was his home track. Not only that, but Honda would've gone all out to make sure they did all they could to get a Japanese rider on the podium (like the HRC wildcard). Add to that the way the Bridgestones have been performing, and Rossi being down on power/top-end speed, and you have to give credit for Rossi perhaps conceding it would be stupid to risk chucking away 20 points trying to beat someone who isn't a real threat to his winning the title again this year.
It's interesting watching Tamada's style - it's reminiscent of Haga's technique in WSB when he was starting out (before he settled down a bit), hanging further off the bike than anyone else.

i miss haga riding style he can't do that style on his duke, i love the way the japs ride, go out to win nothing else, crash trying to get there
