Freaky experience yesterday with someone I hardly knew... we sat and talked and the more we talked the more I found myself saying "me too..." I had to stop after a while because I'm sure I started sounding like a sycophant.
Rare, kinda funny and "unsettling" all at once...
It' happened before although YEARS ago. How often does it hit you guys/gals?

Not very often. But it's so cool when it does - and usually the new friend is experiencing the same thought!
When I meet people like this that I instantly click with, they usually turn in to the friends you have for years and years, and can pick up with straight away even if you haven't seen them for ages.
Makes you wonder about past lives and all that hippy, trippy, woo woo shit . . .:innocent:

Two things you should do!
1/- Ask her if she likes shooting, fishing, riding, wabbits, nice butts and sex?
2/- if yes! Marry her! :done:

My parents emigrated here when I was small. My fathers family are all in Scotland, and my mothers all in the USA or Canada. I never had aunties, cousins, grandparents and the like. I first met a Canadian cousin of mine when we (due to the time difference we celebrate on the same day) turned 40. Talking to him it was amazing to experience the feeling of OMG........we grew up half a world apart, had never spoken etc, but had done the same things at eh same sort of age as we grew up! It is special indeed!

Occasionally.
A friend of mine and I were walking along one day, hadn't said anything to each other for a while when we both turned to each other and said at the same time "Fuck my big toe is sore"!! Very unsettling! What's even funnier is when my female friends start having their 'monthlys' at the same time as mine!! That's when you know you've spent wayyyy too much time together!!
Just to add to that, I met this chick, we had a lot in common, got on like a house on fire only to discover a few months down the track that we were born on the same day! Still great mates!

hahah, omg, have that all the time with random people!
owever, its funny that most of my strongest and greatest friends have really diffeent ideas ot mine... opposites attract as well as similarities! heh...
you should listen to a group discussion among my friends, you'd want to bring a shield and a bucket of water, just incase someone needs to be cooled down... not to mention running shoes, as after the bucket has been emptied... you'd better run...

You should hide the mirrors if you're going to drink mate.
But seriously, very very seldom do I run into someone as seriously fucked up as I am.

A couple of years back when touring the NI I ran into a chick biker and we had a cup of coffee together at a service station. Don't even recall the name. One of those small ones in some unknown town. She had seen my bike as I pulled in and came over for a natter. Turned out she was an an astronomer. But there was a bit more to her than star gazing. Sometimes you feel that you have known a stranger all your life. There's more than chemistery going on in these sort of situations. I never even asked her name. Just did not feel that it was important.
Ride safe who ever you are.

Shall we fill in the blanks. He just left out the good stuff to impress the girls here!!!
A couple of years back when touring the NI I ran into a hot chick biker and we had a cup of coffee together at a service station. Don't even recall the name. One of those small ones in some unknown town. She had seen my bike as I pulled in throbbing out its powerful tune. I got off stretching from the long ride. I saw her watching, our eyes meet and she came over for a natter. Turned out she was an an astronomer. But there was a bit more to her than star gazing. As I looked into her eyes I could see desire in the way she parted her lips. I couldn't resist taking her in my arms and kissing her gently, feeling the softness and the giving of her body as it pressed against mine. Sometimes you feel that you have known a stranger all your life. There's more than chemistery going on in these sort of situations. I could tell we both felt a stirring deep inside as I followed her a short distance down the road to her place. [I]I never even asked her name [I]as I took her in my arms, and felt her passionatly tearing at my shirt ..etc etc...etc...etc...etc.... Just did not feel that it was important to wake her as I sat astride my bike looking fondly back at the bedroom window. I rode off into the distance, I had to be somewhere, she had to stay. We both new it was one of those beautiful experiences that neither will ever forget

I've been reading on hypnosis recently. It's well accepted that people are drawn to others that seem alike to themselves.
A technique used often when working to put the subject into hypnosis is mirroring. Very simply put, the hypnotist will watch for suble actions or behaviours in the subject, such as tapping a finger or tilting their head to one side. The hypnotist will mirror this in a suble way. The subject will subconciously pick this up and belive that the hypnotist is very like them. The result is a bond of trust and feeling of relaxation when building the relationship.
It is often that we come across people who are naturally similar to ourselves and we find it easy to relate experiences to them which causes the effect of 'clicking' with someone.
There are probably many people we meet who have the same experiences as us, but unless we feel that they are in some way alike, we are often subconciously unwilling to let ourselves go and share with them.
Apparently... :eek5:

Oh believe me the "etc etc etc" could have been very very different. But I'd been finishng someones home design plans until midnight so was tired and kept it short.
Also kept it a notch back because Skylarks original post was presented in a deep and meaningful way, so didn't want to dirty the topic.
But mostly! I'd have the law around here, if I really gave you an insight into my sexually explicit mind. Us guys have fantasies as well you know. lol Mostly with 2 of you! haha, all good fun though! LLLiiiicccckkkk!!!
