The Lone Rider

This is a memo sent to staff at my work (Ive edited it a tad). I'm not sure if the position is in company recruiting or if it's open to outside.
"Tooling Technician Vacancy
The position involves organizing and maintaining the tooling so that production plans can be achieved.
Detailed position description will be created in conjunction with the successful applicant."
My understanding is you report directly to the head of engineering, who co-ordinates with the team leaders of the technical teams. Team leaders have production schedules to try and keep to and the technicians need certain parts (tools) ready to go onto the machines at the right time. So you will be in charge of making sure those are ready to go, as well as maintaining ones not being used. And also you may get asked to help the engineering team or the technical team in shift from time to time.
I'd say all training is provided, forklift license a plus but company will pay for that. Knowledge of hand held, and electrical tools as well as mechanical prowess probably a bonus as well.
Can drop me a PM - this post probably will end up lost in the the field of rants and I wont see new posts and the subscription thing doesnt always work for me.
