Ebay is your friend . . .
Lots of cheap leathers on Aus ebay, and they post to Unzud. 1.2mm grade, not the best, not the worst as I understand it. Have seen these, manufacturing quality seems OK.
Keep you going til you can get decent gear I suppose, just hope you don't come off in the meantime.
Also understand Quasimoto is having a sale, worth a look perhaps?

Check out Lifestyle imports also - they have one/two piece, gloves and boots. I got some pants from them a while back and the leather was nice and sturdy, unfortunately they didn't fit me too well so I ended up selling them on but the quality was decent.

I've been using these for the last 2 years and they are not too bad. Two piece zip together suit cost under $500. The quality is reasonable but not exceptional. The zips are crap though I've had to replace some of them (Pants fly, both ankle zips). You get what you pay for I guess. They have built in back protector, shoulder, elbow and knee armour and knee sliders. I've been for a good slide in mine on the racetrack and they held up well.
