She watched it with me an said if I try any of that, she'll take to my bike with the sledgehammer. Said I wont as the bikes ugly enough as is. Those jumps look like fun when they get it right though,:Punk: not so much when they lose it:shit:

We should get a crew together and go - next time they're here! Or go to my neighbours workmates place... He got given a digger hire for his birthday... to make his own jumps on his farm.... He and his 3 boys race around the farm doing shit like that every weekend apparently...

Anybody can do that sort of stuff with trail bikes. They should use cruisers. I'd pay serious money to see that young Aussie dude holding up a Goldwing 20m off the ground.

BOOOORRRRRINNNNGGG! They have already backflipped a snowmobile - not much difference between that and a Goldwing is there? Now, doing it with a Harley would be interesting, they'd be fucked trying to get up enough momentum to launch it off the ramp in the first place!
It was pretty awesome seeing those young guys though, lucky bastards!

we went to see them a few months ago in palmytown. Certainly is impressive and some of the stunts are hard to believe that they are not camera tricks. And that is when you are sitting in the front row. 20 feet away.
Back in the day we used to jump bikes a fair bit. Absoultely nothing like this crazy shit though.

The Palmerston show was amazing. They looped a quadbike, and actually, on their first appearance one of the guys crashed. He didn't get up either and had to be stretchered off. Ouch. They carried on in true 'show must go on' fashion. And said a few words for him too, which was nice.

The funny thing was that it was my daughters who were so vocal about watching it. Usually its "why are we watching this boaring stuff?". Not really surprising though since they have Travis Pastrama posters up on their wall. Mum sat through it watching but not commenting even when one of my daughters stated that "even girls can do this stuff too", they had seen Scary Mary do her tricks and it had left a lasting impression in their minds. Not that they would do such things but if they should I guess that I would have to support them as one should.
