hey, well i have a lightly modified '86 cbr250, and its rear sport demon tyre has seen better days and needs replaced soon. and i have been thinking, it has only a drum brake in the rear, would it be worth replacing it with another rear wheel which has a disc brake?it would be good if the newer model wheels are lighter too, although im not sure if they would be.
and also, does anyone have thoughts about putting a bigger sprocket on? i know how this can reduce the top end speed, but itd be nice to have some better acceleration coming out of the corners and stuff, dont want to strain the engine during 100kph cruising or anything though.

Anythings possible. By the time you buy a wheel/disk/rear brake hydraulics and all the other stuff you'll need you'll be up for $600 or so
Re sprocket--Yea cool idea but what RPM does she cruise at 100km/h at now??

hey thanks man. ahh $600 probably wouldnt be worth it then.it'd be nice though none the less! um its doing 8000revs @ 100kph which is low for a cbr250 think. and fuel consumption wouldnt be too much of an issue, its sweet on fuel :)
