TVNZ on demand...Has anyone actually used it?
I thought I knew how to work it, but turns out I don't! And I am out tonight so I quite need to be able to watch Shorty Street tomorrow morning or I might die!!

Is a shame they don't have programmes other than NZ ones on it, but it would be even better if I could work it out!!
So help please!!

Go to the website. Find the program you want and then click on it. Pretty straight forward i think.

It didn't work though. Never has. And hasn't worked for others I have talked to either

Probably your internerd browser throwing its plugins out of the cot.

If your using Internet Explorer, try using Mozilla - or vice-versa.

I've managed to download Shorty St a couple of times for the wife when "I've" forgotten to set the recorder.

Might be something to do with the browser settings or a firewall.

Do you have/need the correct media player? Depending on the version, Windowz Media Player doesn't have all the necessary codecs installed in order to play all common video formats.

I need Real Player installed to watch some of the TV progs n stuff I surf.

Pop up blocker?

the little lines going across ,,it tells me it loading ,,,I am waiting ,,,,,,, You know it seems to be like a tube , down loading anything from NZ ,,sometime ( usually when people are working ,,its ok , but at night like now ,,everything is on a go slow ... Kb sometimes doesnt connect ,,, so i flick over to Yahoo Japan , back to a decent speed

Ive typed all the above and it still hasnt started ,,,

Gived up i did

You might need the latest flash player. Google for macromedia flash.

You'll also need a decent connection, please tell me you aren't trying to use it from dialup.

Using Ubuntu ,, withAutomatix , so i assume flash 9 and on 100mb/sec so should be fast enough ,,,
really does seem that there is a pipeline into NZ and when its full,,,,

Shortland Street preditable plot Spoiler

Stop reading below this point if you have no idea what is going on

Kerin or whatever his name is gets arrested, and charged. As they matched his DNA and also there is a mystery witness who reveals all.
However there is more to this then meets the eye as Kerin didnt really do it.
That should sort you out for the next 2 weeks.

Ha ha, yeah....thats like saying you happened to read something on the cover of Womans Day while you were reading Blokey Bloke Bloke magazine in the doctors waiting room. :Pokey:
