Bloody Mad Woman (BMW)

School holiday time again. My 14 yr niece and her friend wanted to stay again. They are right comedians these two.
Had to take my cat to the vet on Saturday. I took in a pure=bred red persion but her previous owner had not been combing her so had to have her fur shaved in various areas to get rid of knots, her name since she was born is "Babe" so at the moment she looks a bit like Gollum - she was getting stitches out. Why do I mention this. AJ kindly gave us a lift and told me what his opening comments were at the film nite ' Just have to take BMW to the vet - something about her pussy" - charming.
AJ only found out about the nieces coming along on the day. Dropped them off in the Hutt. Then rejoined them - I thought we would go straight home however he waited around while the girls shopped!! This is Gold Medal Award stuff lol.
My mate Ahu had spat the dummy day before - vet was originally on Friday nite. Olivia my niece and Kayla love him to bits. I had explained they may not see him again. Of course I was getting 50 thousands questions, just said he's cutting his nose of to spite his face, then had to try and explain what that meant lol. Anyway Sat I was not well and slept - Olivia's ph had died - disaster - so I gave her an old one of mine - so all her numbers overwrote mine - I had not given her Ahu's no. However she might be blonde but used her brains and searched incoming calls and apparently I had listed his new no. which I wasn't aware of. They txted him and he met up with them. Said Shirl doesn't know we have done this. He assured them I wouldn't mind. Geez I laughed. I mentor this guy and at the moment - he is just not listening to anyone - he had a heart attack last week - think he will slow down - no! But the girls softened him up. And back to status quo.
Anyway this weather is playing havoc with my asthma. I had to ask Ahu to stay because I may have had to go to hospital and he would need to look after the girls. Suffice to say I was at Dr's twice Tues and am being pumped up with steriods again. Anyway massive attack. Ahu absolutely panicked, instead of a cold flannel = I got a hot one, instead of a glass of hot water he gave me a bowl lol, he couldn't find the phone - it's not moved, then he didn't know how to use it - I'm asking him how long is it since I took the inhalers etc - peak flow at 100 = 125 but by that time I have no concept of time - or of anything else for that matter lol in the end I gasped give me the ph - I knew they would have my details from recently. I must admit I was beginning to think shit it's curtains this time girl - just didn't want the girls to witness this tho.
Anyway Ambo folks came - we had a good laugh afterwards (well Ahu didn't) but the girls were busy perving at the young ambo guy "nice arse" "nice eyes" young lad was about 18, poor guy - must have felt the burning eyes.
They have learnt to skateboard while here - skatepark just across from where I live. Then ridden BMX bikes. None of them their own!
Got home last friday - and they had dyed their hair. Peroxided blonde. Can't miss them at all - often getting asked if they are twins!!
I made them cook tonite - Olivia made hamburger meat patties - she did a damned good job. There has been alot of laughter - only once in the beginning did I have to reprimand them "Do you think I talk to listen to the sound of my own voice?, I asked you to be home at a certain time".
Phew their talk at times has left me gobsmacked. Geez I was never that clued up on the facts of life at that age. They are so natural and at ease with people. So different from my anal upbringing and paranoia - well that of my father's.
They haven't mentioned TV once. Obviously don't miss it. They have learned to love "that old slow music". Been some neat singalongs here.
