Hey all,
Im after motorcycle mags from the 70's, 80's and 90's. I prefer mags aimed at the jappers, sportsbikes or not Im still interested. Ones that cover when the fireblade first entered the motorcycle world etc etc. Im interested in learning about the classic motorcycles.
If you have enough mags I would be keen to swap one of my new steelmate alarms for them..however there would have to be quite a few mags. If not I can pay cash if you want cash. Ive bought some off trademe and from 2nd hand books stores..I want to enlarge my collections.
Infact while Im at it, I will take any classic motorcycling "old shit" (quoted my work mate when I asked how to spell memorabilia).

Oh thanks mate, I LOVE reading the old performance bikes mags and all that. Real interesting write up about the early bikes that started everything.

"Started everything"?
You're an odd little man with a very short view of history.
PM your address, I'm having a clean out.

You see some good stuff come up on Trademe from time to time. I have an auto-search set up on The Tard to email me new auctions with the word `CB250RS' used somewhere, so I can keep an eye out for parts and such.
I get quite a few results for magazines and the like, containing period reviews. I've never bothered to buy them though; can't be fussed spending $3 on a magazine then paying $6 for shipping, then finding out that my bike got it's arsed kicked by a KZ250 and an MZ250 in a three-way comparison back in 1980 :innocent:

I've probably got a half a wine box or more, and I've got love for alarms, but they're probably more mid to late 90s till now. Not actually sure if I've got any of my early 90s ones any more, would have to look.

I've got the tail section in bits building some stuff for the wiring system, so now is as good a time as any :D I'll have a dig around, I've shifted a whole heap of aircraft and street machine type mags of late (in aid of clearing out the garage), I've also got a big stash of pc mags (atomic, apc) from the last 4 years (lots of DVDs with them) if anyone is interested.

I booted the box, and it appears to be quite heavy, so I'll have root around in it and see what's in there.

I've got lots of Motor Cycle Mechanics from the early 70s and the other odd early 70s mag. E-mail me if you're interested. There's an issue of Motor Cycling from April 1958 on my desk but that ain't going anywhere!

Yeah, I've got some, and have thrown out a tonne (well... not literally) of others. You can have 'em for free, if you've got some way of getting them.

I've got a shitload of NZ hunting/outdoors type mags - and a lot of different bike/classic car ones too - free to whoever wants them.
Keeping all my Twin Eagle ones though - and BRM
And NZ Hot Rod mags. (Got just about all of them since 1967) .
