You have 1 bullet and you are very hungry. Which do you shoot?

I dunno, they seem pretty calm ... wait for a while and you might get a chance to headshot both of them.

On a serious note though.
There are many different folk in the world, we never will live in peice, but looking at these makes you realise that we could. Life is too short to worry about who says your arse is fat or you are a crap shot. This brings this into perspective.
EDIT: No I am not turning into a tree hugging, touchy feely hippie. I would choose to shoot with a bullet over shooting with a camera , but say la vee (sp)

Aw dammit - that's not fair!! Very cute and furry.
Though I'd be happy to cook a delicious roast with all the trimmings or rabbit casserole if someone else did the deed for me.
I'd probably be able to strangle the little bastard's necks barehanded if one of them ate the wiring on my bike . . . :innocent:Then I'd have a bullet for the next person who tried to mow me down on the bike.
If I was a great shot and was able to shoot them from far away (eg 500m) I'd do it though.
Rabbit pie is delicious. Roast veni is devine. Hmm. Veni - more meat.

I'm not a vegetarian, for animals to be eaten, they need to be killed...can't have it any other way, no matter how cute they look.
So, if it was a matter of life and death and if I was a special forces operative with excellent marksmanship (like our friend Sniper who could hit a Barn Door Knob from two farms away) I would take out either of them. If I felt I could crawl back to civilization in a day or so the rabbit would go as I wouldn't want to waste a deer when just a little bit of meat would suffice.
Also I've never eaten rabbit, whereas I used to eat Venison pretty much twice a week back in the city of snails. Buy it from Pak N' Save, lovely lean meat, goes great in stews, stir frys, fried rice, even curries.
Right, now I've got to go home and decide what to pick from the fridge, I've got tuna, chicken, kangaroo, gourmet pork sausages and some steak.
Damn it Sniper you're making me hungry and I'm still stuck in the office...

Peace and C'est la vie.
Question: What calibre weapon are we shooting with? Anything bigger than a .22 and there may not be much left of Thumper.

Lol, cheers mate, but you are too kind. Good call, no point killing for the sake of it. Only kill what you need to survive.

Hmmm, venison. Must get some out the freezer now you mention it. Either that or wild pork ;)

I shot a rabbit once... right through the eye... so I would probably go for that if I HAD to.
On the other hand I have seen a rabbit that got shot in the leg, and it screamed like a baby... I will never forget that, so if you have to shoot it, make sure you kill it out right, so it doesnt suffer.
I would rather shoot at claybirds... not as tasty though.

LOL... gimme a 50 cal... and I'd shoot bambi right up the arse.
He's be killed, skinned, gutted, and reduced to individual portions before he hit the ground.
Thumper'd probably die of fright too...

20MM of fun...... 4 times as much recoil as the pansy 50cal hence the large recoil tube..... the round was developed in WWII as an anti air round and is still used as such and can be HE or armour piercing, the latter probably being the better choice if you wanted some meat left and were shooting through the rabbit to get the deer......

He has the entire range covered. Pistol for the close work and (20mm?) for the longer stuff... REALLY longer stuff!

yeah but...
It'd be a bastard of a thing to carry... What's wrong with a 270 or 7mm-08 (among many many other choices...)
