how often do stones go right through radiators :gob:
i was barley even speeding and the bike infront (gsxr600) flicked a wall of stones at me and they chipped my visor and the front of my bike. forks had about 3 small ships in and the radiator a new 20c coin sized hole:bye:

who can fix these around aux?

Bummer about the radiator. I made my own radiator grill by going to Supercheap and buying a sheet of turbo intercooler mesh (even comes in several colours) and cutting to size. Cost me about $30. I have a couple of dents in the mesh but no stones have made it to the radiator so far. Cheap insurance.

Often enough. Happened on a ride I went on recently.

Happens all the time, like Trumpy said...its easy as to make up a grill to cover the radiator...it also keep some of the dirt and road grease away from the radiator.

I've had the same thing, except that the stones that got flicked up didn't just chip the front fairing, they went through it. One hole aboue the size of 50c piece right between the lights and another just below the right-hand wing mirror mount. Just lucky I saw thing things coming and was able to get my arm in front of my face.

DAzza chucked a rock the size of my fist out the back of his duke and I had time to turn my head and collect it to the side of instead of the front of the visor, was impressed it didn't smash just gouged out some plastic. Then dropped on to the tank and rolled about doing some more damage....

A device that allows the engine to reduce the heat created when producing big power...oh whoops sorry, just saw what bike you ride.

These guys did some repairs for me a year or so ago. Work was well done and a good price too.

What's a radiator?

A device that clutters up the appearance of your bike, makes access to bits of your bike even more inaccessable and gets holes put in it from time-to-time.
Apparently.

You ride with other bikes and you will get stones. Snap with Trumphy on this one as its the first thing I do. But not with my 25 year old 1100 that is still 100HP plus.
