The centenary must be coming up in a couple of years - is there any buzz on that?

I checked with the IOM government and the TT centeneray celebrations are in 2007  the TT is (as you're probably already aware) a major revenue generator and the majority of the population are into it for all sorts of reasons. i've got a few mates that moved out there. they reckon it's the best thing they ever did. no speed limits out of town and zero income tax :2thumbsup

They vote shortly on whether to introduce speed limits. And I believe it doesn't look good, despite 80% of the residents wanting no change. If speed limits come in I think that will be the end of my TT visits. I'm no speed merchant but to be worried about exceeding the limit will kill the experience.

Yep SPR ridden by a young Italian lad called Umberto Rumiano, lapped at around114mph, think i'm correct in saying the fastest man ever on an MV at the TT. Says he will be back next year with the 1000

MMMMM red R1..... very nice and a bit quick :niceone:

Lots of rumours that 2007 will be the last year  I think it will carry on but the big guys will not support it and therefore it will fade away in not too many years :bye:
