ok moved up to oamaru and was wondering how many kb bikers are from up here and do you guys do weekend rides etc???

My bro lives in Oamaru and drives round on a SRX250. You will see him around when the weather heats up a bit. Stop him and say hi, he is keen to go for a ride with other fellow 250 riders! You also might see me down there every so often as well.

Good to see another biker in our neck of the woods. I regulary head south most weekends for a blat around the coast or some where. Give me a yell if you fancy an outting.

hey all just back from nice ride into kurow just befor kurow a bee decided to investigate the gap between my jacket and helmet and stung me (ouch) never been stung befor so was 2 new things a.stung by bee b.stung by bee at 100kph...did it right tho didnt panic pulled over and murdered the we bugger.got sting out then rode back to where the cave drawings are and wated to make sure i wasnt going to have a reaction.saw oldrider go by waved but ya didnt see me(well think it was you)
gr8 ride enjoyed myself heaps.but had to head home to do house work befor picking up kids from school.shame i not heading down south to the pp but work comes 1st willbe heading upto the magpie in nov so be looking forward to that.

Oamaru is an ok place...have been there a couple of times, met a bloke in Rarotonga last week that lives there..Gary Young, he used to own the Suzuki Dealership there but has handed that on to someone else....now selling real estate

His son runs the Suzuki dealership now, Garry is a good bloke, I used to play footy with him,(100 years ago) know him well. Cheers John.

Cheers John...he was there with his new lady Jos....another bloke that owns the Nelson Suzuki/something else Dealership was there also...he recognised Garry...yea nice people

well looks like i moving back to dunedin and all the cruddy weather.
shame as i love it up here but being a single dad and just broke up with my misses there not much option but to give up the best job i have had and move in with my olds lol
go on the DPB and cream off the tax payers till i get my self sorted.
thanks to all the tax payers for that :oi-grr:
life is sometimes not fair and just when you think your on top it bites you
on the arse.
:Offtopic: hope to be heading up this way for the magpie madness and the long drop rallys.

Thats a bummer!
There maybe some cheap renters in Oamaru & surrounds that'll suit you, at least that way you'll still be in a place you love & things will eventually get better. Still good people around that place.

would stay if i had money for rent and bond but i walking away with hardly anything.will get my self sorted and who knows i may move back here
