Anyone know if the confirmed entries list on the VMCC website as at 10am on Monday the 16th July is complete or not?

Seems to be a lot lower number of entries for round 3 as compared to rounds 1& 2 (for SB & SS anyway).

At the stated time it reads as:

Supersport Superbike
R1 40 35
R2 31 34
R3 22 21

Would be a pity if they didn't have full fields like last time (at least at the start of the day)

Why not?

There was some rambling about Streetstock not being run in the rain (and it's probably gonna rain)...I'm not sure if this is just a proposed rule from Sue Bradford or is actually to be enforced.

Then I can say in all honesty there is a glitch in the programming of converting it to the website. I've had my suspicions on this. Confirmed now. Will let Phil know - who handles this side of things for me.

You are definitely confirmed.

Thanks for letting me know.

Cheers Shirley

? Don't recall the Vic Club passing on that message to this particular entrant and I've a feeling I'm not alone.

Still, at least fire extinguishers are easily attainable - unlike transponders.

yes you all have to buy fire extinguishers. you're all MNZ license holders ( i was going to say - and grown up, but this is cowpoos we're talking about :) )so it's up to you to keep up with the regs. the update was sent to all license holders. it's not vic club's job to hand hold you through the whole thing :bleh:

and you can buy transponder from http://www.amb-it.com

Not everyone starting out has a license (not worth applying when renewal date was a month or two later). God forbid a motorcycle club hands out useful information. Would it have been such a hassle to perhaps wait another round (thus being able to advise competitors properly) before implementing this rule?

Regards to transponders. Is it too much to ask for MNZ to get their fingers out their collective arses and actually import some into New Zealand?

Why wait for the next round to implement a safety rule ??? If its deemed we have to have one then thats all there is to it !.
I agree with some that a 1 kg cylinder will not do much but if we all have one then as a group a half decent fire can be overcome / controlled for long enough to get some bigger gear onto it.

As for MNZ importing transponders, get a list of buyers together and ask them or even ask if the Vic Club would do another shipment as they have already done. Also on that note, MNZ dont have much to do with the Vic Club series apart from the affiliation as a member so its a bit tuff to ask them to help out, its not thier domain. EG; when back protectors were made compulsary it was deemed a "safety requirement "but it was up to the individual to purchase one to qualify for motorcycle racing as per the rules. MNZ / ACU didnt susidise or arganise the supply, they were already in the market and so are transponders. Its a free market and i for one dont agree with a monopoly where we HAVE to buy from only one source.

Have asked twice. Have already emailed AMB about price and minimum numbers for importing at a discount.
