Dunno about Kimmys being open for winter, was there on Sat and nearly got turned away after driving all the way from North Shore, but luckly he rememberd txting us back the night before about opening up the MX track only and only let the 3 of us in.
Track didnt look like it had bin groomed since the last time we were there (month) and it doesnt drain verry well either, but by mid day the track was geting some good grip and still prefer to drive out to kimmys than Thundercross.

I think I was told week B4 last, Thunder was closed till August sometime, it was getting quite cut up last time I was there.
And Kimis was a ring first situation.
Now they are getting stuck into the Woodhill tracks and the fees are reasonable for a family it'd be a good option this side of summer.
Kimis 07/8284804 or 0274782230
Thunder 09/2333117 or 0274172327

Moto X track?....Yeah, its going to go ahead, we have put the skidder through to see how the dynamics would work, fast would be a disciption at this stage so we will have to put in some chicanes and a few jumps to slow things down. God forbid we might even have to put a section of whoops in. Very rough and unformed at this stage and the main thing is to make it as wide as possible so that passing is good and there is an inside/outside lane on the bermed corners. Should be about 2k.

Not for a few weeks yet. Lots to do so little time. We have someone who is going to be developing it but there is a shit load involved. First stage is the digger, then tyre walls etc etc.. Remember that it has to be designed so that line of sight is good and also that jump marshalls are not required.
Average Joe has to be able to enjoy. Saying that, it will be restricted to experienced 85cc riders and above.
