HJC AC12 anti fog visor

Just wondering if anyone has one of these visors (hj09) and would like to share how well the "no fog" visor is? does it actually work properly? I'm looking into getting one of these helmets and thought I had better find out

I have the one that comes with HQ1 (I think it is ac12 but you'd better check). It is nothing short of amazing. It never gets fogged. Full stop.

So, does it come with a fitted Pinlock or FogCity system, or is it just coated on the inside like ski goggles?

I don't know what model my HJC is but it has an anti fog visor and I can't fault it, can't figure out why all brands don't have it. Oh, hang on, that would cut down on their profits I guess

I got a fog-free visor for my HJC CL14; it worked perfectly for about 6 months, now it's starting to fog up again. Cost me about $100 IIRC (vs I think $30 for a standard one?). Will apply cat crap and hope for the best, then possibly investigate one of the insert options.

Oh - even when new, while it didn't fog, it did get wet on the inside, though only down the bottom, so didn't obstruct my view except of the instruments. I guess the moisture still has to go somewhere.

I've got an AC12 with a clear anti fog visor and a iridium (tinted shiny poser) shield. The iridium one is ok when moving but fogs up on cold days when going slow. The anti fog one is very good and almost never fogs up. It will still fog up a little if you are going very slowly in temperatures below about 5 degrees. I can also vouch for it being very strong. I had a certain individual wheelie in front of me over a gravel patch and three large pieces of gravel (large marble size) came flying back at me. One smashed my right mirror. One got me in the arm and left a nasty bruise through my leathers. The third one got me square in the visor with force like a punch to the head but didn't crack the visor.

They are great visors. Don't clean them with anything but water and a soft cloth though.
