Anyone been? What's it like? Looks nice from the outside...
It's our anniversary on Monday and we thought we might go out for dinner on Saturday night. It seems nice and close.
The other option was the White Swan in Featherston but that's over the hill and I'll be driving (being designated driver and all that) - and my night vision is very poor so no hill for me after dark! LOL

Totara I haven't been since it was Cobb & Co years ago but if you want something more trendy Bell House is on the corner just down the road and I went there a few months ago and it was nice. If you've got an Entertainment Book its in that too to save money.

Hiya Jude
I'll +1 that, Bell house is an absolutely top place, we've been a couple of times on super special occasions. Yes entertainment book worth it as it's not super cheap, but is very nice.

We went to the Tote for lunch not too long ago - wasn't too bad at all. Orders of magnitude better to the Cobb 'n'n Co that it was previously.
Would like to try the Bell sometime.

Where'd you go in the end Jude?
Last Saturday we ended up at the Furnace for lunch which I found out was part of the Tote (as they seem to be calling the Totara now) and tonight we're going back to Bell House.
