If the munchies are being delivered to home and a kid answers the door then the delivery person should prob think twice about handing over a mag showing Nicky with her boobs (mmmmmmm) hanging out of her shirt. But if someone "öf age" opens the door then good on them (triple D's included LOL)

I reckon theyre marketing tactics are very good, this sort of publicity is probably what they expected and wanted. Remember the "lust" condoms that publicity stunt recieved the same sort of complaints but on a larger scale, and in most aspects was an effective way of drawing attention to themselves.
I am all for hell pizza, used to work there till Bruce died.

Right, and what does the kid see anytime he turns on the TV?

Fucking bint just wanted her 15 minutes.

It is always the extremely good, annoying or highly controversial stuff that gets the attention... and they want attention.

Whether that reflects as a good investment to boost sales is yet to be determined.

Free to offend and free to be offended.

Free to say yes and free to say no.

It is not compulsory to eat their pizzas.

Everybody is free to make a personal choice.

No problem for me or mine, so no offence taken. :zzzz: John.

Great marketing, the meaning of advertising is get the message out,or your brand out in market place.

Best way is people talking, and guess what is happening.Just because tits watson is poster girl in this item doesn't mean we'll all buy it,mind you explain the tui add girls,I still haven't seen em at the brewery.

Wasn't that long ago we were all being told how bad Toyotas' bugger add was, that did not harm me morally or mentally as do gooders would have me believe.

If it offends an individual then they should not buy said product, don't tell me what to buy!!!!:Punk:

No one took them away from my kids...they just disappeared. :bye: I once wore a padded bra and my youngest son was fascinated with them, kept trying to touch them.

That woman needs to get over it and go buy pizza hut instead. FFS! What does she expect buying pizza from a place called Hell.

Now Nicky Whatsaname..... There's a good reason not to look at the magazine.

The other day, I heard on 91ZM of a canadian pizza place selling similar items, with a porn mag distributed with it....BUT, you had to have ID when ordering to ensure you were of legal age to see the said material...

I have one of the dirtiest sense of humour I know of (apart for a couple of other ladies in here...Mrs KD & Sunhunting, love your style:love:), but I got to admit that I'd like to see, as a mother, a few more restrictions on the distribution for the Hell Pizzas...

Just plain common sense, I guess...

Why thank you...you raise a good point, which I have actually wondered about.

I'm my view, my avatar is reasonably tasteful...you can see roundness and some form of detail, but it is clothed...and also, I would hope that it would be sufficiently subtle not to offend anyone...I have consciously selected one with clothing, and if it had been a nude, I would have censored it myself...

But if anyone is finding my avatar disturbing, by all means, let me know and I'll place a chihuahua in a bathing suit instead.

For the record, that image is not there to get your boys going (even if it seems to have that effect), it is there because I love to look at beautiful things, and that butt happens to be a very nice one...besides, it is a also like my personnality: VERY CHEEKY!

ah yes but thats the problem isn't it - your view and someone else's view are not necessarily the same - these things are COMPLETELY subjective and always will be

personally i dont see the diff (in terms of the 'level of taste', if you will)between your avatar:drool: and nicky watson's bust protruding lustily on the cover of the hell rag:drool: - both are decidedly salubrious as far as im concerned and, more importantly, are as ubiquitous as the sun these days....

but the discussion on the use of condoms as part of some jocular marketing...i mean really! gimme a break! its a condom, get over it! the world uses and produces, what, a gazillion of them every day?! ooo no, lets pretend they dont exist and hide them from our kids! get real....

I agree with you to a point.... the difference however between this site and the advertising from Hell's pizza is that we are all adults here and can decide wether we want to look at something or wether we don't, and can control it accordingly...

the advertising of this company is out in the open, given to just anyone, with little or no regulation as to whose hands and/or eyes will get on it...It is crass advertising for the sole purpose to shock and get attention, without any thoughts for who it may affects...it is slightly irresponsible!

And as I said earlier, if my avatar bothers more than 3 people, I won't be offended, I'll change it...

Yes, I am offended. For the same reason as all other misguided inanity offends me: it fucks with my intellect. I'm not offended by Nicky Watson's tits -- although she should be.

Hell's Pizza seems to have no idea what their marketing proposition or target audience is. I suspect that their tweenie "marketing" manager has dropped one too many party pills or got laid by some wannabe creative with a wet-dream promotional concept. In six-months time they will both be somewhere else and what's left of Hell's Pizza will be looking for the Next Big Thing.

Accepted, but any creative with half a brain could do better. There's a big difference between "sin" and "sleaze". Particularly not-very-clever sleaze. Haven't they heard of risque and double entendre? Both of these are artforms, when well executed.

Agreed totally.

The Hell marketing is tired and not clever. Fine, just my opinion. But handing the mag out to children without the parent's consent is wrong.

By the way, us kids found my Dad's stash of Penthouses when we were about 7 or 8. Mum and Dad just said "don't you get all silly about looking at those" and left it at that. So nudity was no big deal, and we soon wandered off to do something else. Quite a good way of handling it, but it was in our own home, and still to this day I think the penthouses of the 70's and 80's were particularly beautiful and celebrated the female form. I doubt they would have had the same reaction if it had been hard core porn or some other dubious stuff.

The Hell Pizza mag just sounds immature, tasteless and idiotic. Which are things I would try to censor from my kids.

I don't understand how they can get away with using the term Hell-O as the name of the mag. What does the real Hello mag have to say about it?
Just thinking back to all the legal palaver about the 'Formerly the Blackball Hilton Hotel' on the West Coast.

But I'd kill for a proper pizza right now - in Korea the toppings include sweetcorn bits, mayonaisse, and glace cherries, and a tiny sprinkling of cheese.

Because copyright law is about 'intent'. If they intended to take 'hello's' customers - or copy their style or content...hardly the case.
