Bike presentation thing at Lincoln College tomorrow sponsered by Street & Sport Motorcycles.
Starts 9:30am ? Well some of the Plains club are heading that way about 9am

Ok got the flyer..
It's called Blood-Sweat-Tears & 100 years.
Come to a free public presentation on New Zealand's contribution to the Isle of Man TT - and the World Sidecar Record.
The Isle of Man presentation will include historical pictures and film fottage of the 100th TT event undertaken 6 weeks ago. Will also include a video confrence (technologies willing) with past NZ National and International champion riders and a static bike display.
Where?
Lincoln University - Lecture Theatre C1 (will be signposted from the Lincoln roundabout)
When?
Saturday 21st July commencing at 9:30am.

That would've been good ... had I known about it a bit sooner. I went to the bike shops yesterday and didn't see anything about it.

Indeed, seems it wasn't well advertised, I wasn't surprised no one here knew any thing more about it. Pity I only got the full details last night. I stayed in bed too long this morning to go, the grey day killed the motivation to get up.
I imagine it's all over and done now.

I went along with others from PMC, TT bit was quite interesting, the technical things worked well. Lots of stats etc about NZ contributions to IOM, some pretty good video footage, free tea, coffee and lots of gingernuts. Then on to Phil Garrett and his sidecar achievements with video footage. Was getting real hungry by 1.30 and started to want to go, should have had breakfast or more gingernuts. Lots of people (fullish) in the first seminar and about half for the next one. It was worth the ride out there in the rain. Will eat more gingernuts next time.
