I've had my share of long distance relationships but NZ to UK is stretching things a bit.

Well, today seems to have been one big Arse Flirt Fest for more than a few people . . . that's gotta be preliminary mating behaviour, surely, according to the anthropologists!

Did that once in a night club. ( The neck kissing, not the incest or line dancing) No words were spoken for 2 hours. And there was a happy ending. Well, a satisfying at least.

Grass gives me the munchies, hence the need for food.(prefer to find my own supply).:doobey:

Grow your grass, then eat your home grown food - you'll produce the gas yourself.
Voila. Self sufficient.

I don't normally read any threads outside of meeting and events but fell over this one. I can't understand all the grief people have with this finding soul mates. In my opinion you need to stop looking. Just go out and do what you enjoy doing. You will come across people with similar interests. They are the people you need to spend time with. Just stick around the groups of people doing your thing and you will find people you like. Like minded people do similar things. They have friends and so on and so on.
You got to drop the "hunting for" thing and just get stuck in to life. Life is a great thing that is too precious to spend unhappy. You can never regain the last minute. So look up and ride the wave of life. Make life good for others and it comes back a hundred times better to you. Be like the warm sunny day and radiate out to others.
Don't come back with a lecture on what shit has gone down cos that is negative. I could do the same thing but you gota look passed that and look forward. Life is truly great. Ride if you love bikes. Just ride and do it.

Why does everything have to be a challenge?
Not everything is a challenge but getting out of my comfort zone or habits I have had for a very long time become challenges to to overcome for me...Like Riding, meeting new people as i used to be shy and wait to be introduced, moving away and starting fresh. I have overcome these. So meeting someone that you want in your life like that to me is a challenge due to certain circumstances that have happened in my life.

When you have changed some major stuff in your life, it pays to let the dust settle before you add another change. One hurdle at a time, and don't get ahead of yourself.

Nah, they not wise, they just old!!!!! (And me, I'm older than both of them)
But, actually what they say is true.
Don't go looking for your soulmate..when you are ready they will appear!
Just go out and have fun, live life to the fullest and enjoy what you have, rather than hankering for what you are "missing out on".

It just takes a while to adjust between the two and stay true to yourself.

It's not hard to find someone, it's just hard to find someone good for you. Searching and meet lots of different people is a great part and I really do like it!
Suffering and making mistakes help you to grow up, learning from that and make you better (sounds like very weird TV programms sorry lol), but I want my reward now!!! Enough suffering for the moment...:Punk:

You are a very wise person Chicky. You just need to believe in yourself. MSTRS and Tart have good life experience. A lot of the comments here are good. I have seen someone here with the tag line " Life is not a practise run" or similar. That is the key. The glass is half full. Rock on fellow riders.
