View Full Version : CHiPs star “never had a licence”
Erik Estrada, former star of 1970s hit show ‘CHiPs’ has revealed he never had a motorcycle licence.
When Estrada, 58 was signed up for reality show ‘Back To The Grind’ - which gets actors to try out their TV roles for real – he had to admit the truth and take his test for real… which he passed at the third attempt.
Estrada said “I always wanted to be a cop, but it’s much harder in real life than when you act.”

Why, what a surprise!!
He's as intelligent as he looks . . . :innocent:
I always like the other guy. Even my seven year old self thought Erik Estrada was a ham.
Charlies Angels and Wonder Woman were the programs du jour when I was a sprout.

Probably didn't even have to ride a bike anyway - bikes were probably on the back of trailers most of the time. Or stunt riders. Although I do remember seeing one of them pull a genuine wheelie once.
Cool program when you were 5 though...
