Hi guys, bike has decided to die on me on Monday morning (she didn't like being outside I think).

when to start it, started, sounded really low on the revs, then died. wouldn't start again.

It's turning over, but not igniting.

Drained the carbs, that didn't help.

Checked the plugs and they were covered in oil, or so it seems.

Not to mention the batt is on it's last legs, must replace that lol.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a decent shop in the city?

Also could anyone give me a hand to get her there? (chuck me a PM :sunny:)

Note I can only use the net at work for the moment (which means now until 8:30am, 12pm-1pm). Should be back up on Wednesday night.

Cheers guys!

I know a MC19 battery will cost $70 from Mt Eden Motorcycles. I used to have the same bike as yours and if I did not ride it for 5 days or more; it would die on me. So what I did was hook the battery to my car without starting the engine if not you will fry the electrics.

Then I kept on starting the bike till it fired up. Push the starter and then pull the choke. That was the only time I ever use a choke. Try it but make sure you don't push the starter for a long time if not you might fry the rectifier.
All the best.
Anyone experience the same thing?

Try the battery first indy, then see where you get to, give me a txt if you are really stuck.

Most bike shops do pick-ups, if you ask.
