Hi Guys

Im weighing up the pros and cons of buying a radar dector and also the best one suited to be used on a bike (also work van) I know valentine and bell are the top specs, but ive also seen some on trade me with radar jammers are lets say on the cheaper side. So if anyone has info one whats best suited and costs of a bike setup and also feedback on the trademe rocky mount ones can you please let me know.

Cheers

hey mate i have both a valentine and a rx65
i find the rx 65 the best as ear plug goes straight in and seems to be a fraction more sensitive for the cameras and stalker radar (34.7 ghz)
valentine you will need extra gizmo to plug into
valentine + headphone base unit 800+100 =$900
rx65 $400-500 ....the end
drop a line at philnz69@hotmail if you want a pic or any extra info

Hi TREX, see the other thread, but like you, I needed a detector which I could use in my Rep's car AND on the ST. I'm happy with the Escort Passport, use a RAM mount bracket on the bike (brilliant piece of kit), ear piece goes straight in etc etc
