Yup on again, please get there well before 12.

Lets get a few more Motards this time.

Past the Brooklyn wind turbine, through the gate (no it only looks locked) & down the windy road, first gravel turn off to the right, look for the tiny SLIPWAY sign.

Spectators welcome, free of course. Bring your leathers & ask should get a ride for novices.

yes it was a great day!...

the bum pants were in HOT demand!!

everyone seamed that they wanted them ..hahahah

fast????

i would not be surprised to see skunk over take a gp125......
you know the one, the one that lies down on straight bits of track... hahahha

it can keep up with MOST of the fast buckets... he only needs to fix the front and ... they will be worried!...
i would say that it would be nearly as fast as mine.. if not faster!..

i need mine fixed to prove this....

great footage of the crash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:Punk::Punk::Punk:

Do your own work. :bleh:

I'll give you a hint. The exhaust timing is 1 degree less than your RS's. Carb is 28mm flatslide. Calculate the rest.

Well actually show up & race rather than just talking about building a bike!!

Good day, weather held off for long enough.

Glad my 125 is going for full races (rewound the stator coils), just I seemed to prefer the 50, which is odd as it is less powerful & far more peaky. The 125 hasn't really proved as powerful as I'd hoped. Might do some more work but the 24mm carb rule is too small I feel.

Not a scratch apparently, for the rider anyway.

Looks like great fun.
Watch out for the slippery stuff, eh?

Which reminds me - maybe you buketeers should have a bitch about 'not spilling the water' out of the used tyres when you're setting up the track.
OR brush it away or something...
I remember last round the water took most of the day to dry up and caused many a slip'n'slide.
Meh~ you fellas probably enjoy that anyway :scooter:

Water!? There was water on the track?
Someone should have warned me, I would have slowed down (ie. parked)

What rules you running on motards? Is something like my WR allowed or is it only for smaller engines and are you MNZ sanctioned needing a competition licence or what? You see I'm retired from 1985.

Skunk
30th July 2007, 21:16
Run what you brung. Not MNZ sanctioned. :)

Easy peasy... tell them all to come and they can have there points rounds with the BEARs in the arvo after the BOB, or change ya date :dodge: i mean as you know in one hand theres a wee tar mac strip and a bunch a tyres... in the other hand is NZ's biggest F4 gathering on the best bucket race track in the country.

Standerred carb? No I think it's a sort of grey colour.

For measuring degrees in ports ask a sailor,

. . or use the rule of thumb; if you can fit one thumb in it's about 170 degrees,
2 thumbs 202 degrees
3 thumbs & the barrels fuk'd.

More-so if the sailor is explaining this to you. :shit:

Yeah...just had a look at that site, that's awesome!!

Just had a quick look around trade me too, nothing much on there that looked overly suitable at the moment.

You know of anyone selling a bucket for cheap?
