I quite like the RF900's and have been keeping an eye on TradeMe. Look at this stunning example

When is a RF900 not a RF900? (http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Motorbikes/Motorbikes/Tourers/auction-110721646.htm?p=1)

:shit:

It must be from the recent Holden/Suzuki merger.

This looks like it might be the bike:
http://www.autobase.co.nz/vehicle_details.asp?manufacturer_name=Suzuki&model_name=RF900&vehicle_id=445894

It looks a lot nicer than the Holden.

... a CX500 owner is giving me shit?
There is no contest about which is the more significant bike.
In 20 years the RF will be a memory while the CX will be in books of notable bikes.

Heh, wrong end of the stick there mate!

I have a reputation as a CX owner - maybe not the coolest though lol.

I love me CX (and it's actually a not a bad bike to ride, Waylander's been a pillion on it, didn't hear too many grumbles!) but being swamped by over 50 year olds at most stops ("oohhh ahhhh I used to have one / know someone who had one of those ...") is prematurely aging me.... Check out the attached pic - I was rather the odd one out at the last KB get together :innocent:

I like the size of the RF's though and the fact it has a half decent seat for the other half to sit on is a bonus.

As for the huge chicken strips - well yeah, the cylinder heads hit the tarmac before the pegs

So there :bleh:
