Big :niceone: from me, Lance. Welcome to KB and a great choice of machine.

I had the opportunity to spend a while on the thou' and shit I loved it. Except the friggin headlights :puke: What the hell were Suzuki thinking?!

The six fiddy's a much better styled bike though. Well done.

Your choise is better than your spelling, my friend!

Leave the man with his nits unpicked and his cranial fibres unsplit for the first ten posts, at least!

The V-Strom 650's a great bike by reputation, Lance. You're sure to enjoy it.

Hi Lance - welcome to KiwiBiker, and motorcycling! I haven't seen a 650 V-Strom I don't think, but all bikes are good!

Happy riding!! (are there many roads on Waiheke? I've never been there.)

The 650 V Strom was a long time coming,it seemed the obvious thing to do,but Suzuki dicked around before the idea suddenly occured to them. It's gunna be hard not to like it.

How long have you been on Waiheke? I was there 10 yrs, from 85 to 96 - there was more gravel then,I could ride every road on the island and still be back in time for lunch. We rode off road up Gordons rd and on Half Moon Bay,we used to ride up Maori Hill too.
