Hello eveyone :sunny:

I have joined this forum from the other side of the world because I'm struggling to find any info on a little Suzuki Goose that I have picked up cheap and wish to use as a commuter. I dont know what winter does to bikes in NZ but over here it completely wrecks them so I have got the bike in bits right now as I sort out all the niggly faults....

I've done loads of searching on the 'net but am really struggling as I dont speak Japanese, however NZ seems to pop up quite frequently as a Goose market. Hopefully one of you guys will have some service / repair info stored away that you could send my way.

I need to get the little Goose fixed up in time for winter as the salt will kill my Aprilia Tuono :shit:

Thanks in advance, Ben

Welcome to the forum Ben, hope you are afloat over there, it sounds pretty wet. Perhaps you should fit water skis to the Aprilla? :shifty:

Anyhow, I am sure someone here will come to your rescue.

Lol, luckily it only rained a lot here in Nottingham but we did not get flooded although it seems like last winter and next winter are merging into one!

Cheers buddy, some one in the UK has told me that the Goose was sold in NZ until quite recently - is this true?

Sorry guys, been studying, will PM Ben but I'm not sure I'll be much help either. The 'manual' that came with the bike was entirely in Kanji (characters) apart from the odd "oil" or "kilometre" under an illustration! At least the RG150 manual sort of resembled English.

We tried Suzuki NZ but all we got was a sheet with the valve clearances, amount of oil to put in, etc on it. No maintenance instructions, just the specs.

Andy does all the work on my bike (since its first service) so if there is anything specific you want to know, ask and he may be able to help. However if I ever go into the garage and find my baby in bits because he wants to figure something out for you, watch out!

Hi Beemer, that info sheet would be really useful still as I literally have zero info on my Goose :)
