Have just got back from a few wonderful action-packed days in Vanuatu and thought I’d post a pic of a dune buggy that we hired for a bit of fun. It was powered by a Honda XR 600 engine (I think!) and geared for about 60 km/hr top whack so it had a fair bit of torque. For about $60 per person, we got to hammer it through jungle tracks and along deserted beaches for 4 hours which is great value for money; especially as it included a BBQ too. It had a solid rear axle so it sledged a bit through tight turns but who cares. Almost as much fun as it’s possible to have with your clothes on:innocent:

As an aside, Vanuatu is a great destination for a fun time. The locals are wonderful people, not at all pushy and strangers go out of their way to be helpful. The place we stayed at was owned by a Kiwi couple from Wellington. The deck of the chalet stuck our over the lagoon – fabulous for sinking a few cold ones. Determined to go back and do the things we missed out on this time around – maybe my 60th birthday later this year:rockon:
