Hey guys,
I have been informed by Star Insurance that they are once again auctioning off some pretty decent machinery on Trademe.
After having a bit of a browse on the Star Insurance website I came across this page here (http://www.starinsurance.co.nz/wrecks.htm) where they list the current wrecks on TradeMe, complete with an assessment report if available! This means you know pretty much what Star Insurance knows about the wrecks.
Happy bidding!
p.s. I am looking at purchasing the Zongshen for myself - can anyone tell me if this is a decent bike? I have not heard of this make before.

chinese... haven't seen that particular model, but saw another, a 200 I think, at a bike shop being assessed... didn't think much of it. Rust (it was almost brand new), front suspension like a pogo stick.
Value of the gixxer really depends why you want it. That turbo alone, if its in good nick, would be a few grand, maybe as a parts donor for a bike you already have?

Cheers Gremlin, Im still on my learners so that turbo would be a bit of a joke for me at this stage.
I think I'll hold out for a nice GN or Hyosung of some description unless this thing goes for cheap.

Small price to pay to say that you own the bike that Stroud binned after being distracted by Panthers arse.
(assuming this is the bike that Stroud binned at Taupo, and that he was indeed distracted by Panthers arse as she so proudly claims)

YES YES it is all true.
came out of turn one, Stroudie zipped past and binned infront of me.
looked like the engine siezed and he just low sided instead of taking turn two.
whether the arse had anything to do with it, well....that is up to GOD

I'm kinda surprised that a bike being ridden and crashed by Andrew Stroud at a racetrack has actually been assessed by an insurance company?

Insurance at trackdays is possible. Ask and ye shall receive.
Well, that depends on your insurance firm anyway :)
"Whatever you name is this week", are you making faces at Mr Strouds religion?
