Absolutely - I'll come along. Have to agree with regards to the food too. But then, when it's beer for lunch... :dodge: :blip:
Hey Quentin - bring the bike into town for a change! I'd like to have a look / steal it...

Lunch lunch lunch, that looks and sounds like a good idea, I was thinking about a ride this weekend at some stage, so but anyways a feed and a drink is a good idea to.
Maybe a ride in the arvo, or on Sunday. Would be cool to get up to Kaikora... all weather dependant.
But lunch... yum... should well be there.
Hey Deviant, I took my bike to the last lunch at the HOG!!! lol..

Yeah, I'm keen for a ride too - my bike is mostly fixed after my little bin - only the fork seals to do and the rear plastics... so it's rideable and I have been riding ;)
Yeah I couldn't go to that one - was driving inlinefour back up to Taranaki that morning.

Have to go to the palms at some point on the weekend anyway, why not combine with lunch? See you there.

Do they let you in wearing bike gear?
Mrs O wants to go for a ride to Ashvegas to watch our GDaughter play netball on Sunday morning.
Not much further to Christchurch for lunch then back to Ashvegas for the night, wallah, netball in the morning, sounds like a cunning plan!
We should be able to make it by 1pm, if I can find the bloody place!
See you there then. Cheers John.

Well on Saturday Mrs O and I rode up to Christchurch. (it rained nearly all the way, 330km)
We joined the group for lunch at the Palms Center establishment of the Fox and the Ferret, we had never been there before.
Mr Sensible was there early shopping and gallantly greeted us and showed us where to park and where to go etc.
We both enjoyed our meal and enjoyed meeting the rest of the group and being part of a very special occasion for Spankme and his Fiance!
That apparently was an unexpected surprise for everyone, congratulations to them both.
We left the Palms in heavy rain, which just got heavier and heavier all the way back to Ashburton and right through the night.
I thoroughly enjoyed the ride in the rain and with adequate gear we never actually got wet ourselves and the Tiger loved it! (Mrs O not quite so impressed)
We got up today to a nice fine day with no rain but bitterly cold for our granddaughters netball competition in Ashburton.
Following the netball we had a very cool but dry ride home via Geraldine Tekapo and Omarama.
Absolutely fantastic ride, stopped at Fairly for a meal at "The Prick Lee Pair " cafe.
This is an excellent stop for Motorcyclists, tasty food, outside tables, easy parking and close to the clean public toilets right in the main street.
There was snow both sides of the road (but not on it) from Kimbell through Burke's Pass.
Just enough to keep the temperatures on the challenging side but enough to help us decide not to go home via the Hakataramea Pass!
We went on down the MacKenzie and bought some salmon at Twizel.
Great ride, interesting weather, went to some new places, met some new people and put some more real faces to some KB avatars.
The Tiger performed brilliantly, Mrs O behaved herself and I had a ball riding my bike! :ride: What more could a man ask for? Cheers John.
