-->Ha, I love this bike. I've got a big poster of Scott Charlton and Chris Seaton on my wall riding the race versions (look-a-like).
Good luck with the sale, looks great!
But what would I know, I don't even have a bike.

I thought the low numbers were for the special version with the slipper clutch, Ohlins suspension and Marchesini wheels. I've seen a few of this colour round - still beautiful though.
Are the Arai stickers covering anything up? Has it ever been dropped (even just fallen over)? Is there any fading on the yellow paint?
Thanks.

Well it would match my leathers. Didn't really want to buy a new bike until summer but who knows.

.That'd be the SP model. There's a couple around here - mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Don't know if they came in the yellow colour scheme though.

As far as I know they only were released in a matt Black think it might of been called 'Midnight Blue' or something similar. There is 1 in NZ but none were sold new in NZ shops, this particular one was an import from the Auzzie's stock. Was for sale on Tardme 3 or 4 months back.

Untrue!
Check this one on Ebay if you don't believe me:

The LE shouldn't be confused with the 50th anniversary paintjob (though they were both available on the same bike).

Yeah I messed up with the date it was supposed to say 2008...thanks for noticing though. All the best

Yeah there is an LC and LE model but they both came in limited edition. The LE came with Ohlins and all the works but at a very very big price tag of I believe over $30+k!! - Alot for a bike. This is the LC model with all standard R1 bits but the paint job. But what a bike!!!
This one was bought new from Red Baron and I dont believe it was an Aussie import as suggested unless they meant they all come from Aussie into NZ but then you would say that I suppose.
And thanks to everyone for the comments re the bike...it is painful to hear all these comments about how good it looks - very sad time for to let it go but anyone who buys it will get an awesome bike that stands out from others.
Cheers guys

The LE in yellow was only in the states. Aussie/NZ spec LE bikes are only black.
Beautiful bike, Nigele, good luck with the sale

Hi, I am selling as I am really struggling with my left wrist and only able to ride for around 30 minutes before I get pins and needles and numbness running up my arm.
Its probably the wrong time of year to sell the bike with all this great Kiwi weather but someone who knows this is a rare opportunity and thinks about the sweet summer days around the corner will buy and appreciate.
Thanks for the comments :)

Hey mate, have you consindered LSL offset match clipons, or helibars, or convertibars? Changing the height and/or angle of them might be just what you need to be able to keep your ride  Worth mentioning anyhoo :)

Yeah, I looked at risers etc...but I am getting pains on virtually any bike I ride. From tourer to sports tourer. But thanks for the suggestion I really appreciate that. Cheers
