Hey guys,

another music thread supplied by yours truelly.

Now, what do you people think about Reggae music??

i personally like it, its really calming and puts me in a happy kind of mood.

Along with that, I think the Dub Side of The Moon album (tribute to pink floyd ofcourse) is really awesome. All the classic Floyd hits from Dark Side of The Moon, with that good old Reggae beat.

Please, supply your thoughts.

During the early 90's I had a dub reggae show on radio Massey and did a bit of selecting at gigs. I love the tunes from the late 70's and 80's. Parenthood and the responsibilites of work led to other recreations. Sold most of my vinyl and cds but kept my favorites.

woah, radio sounds awesome!

and i agree with you on the 70's and 80's bit...

I reckon Reggae can also be misinterpreted sometimes though, its sad coz its such fun music!

That was interesting. Brought memories back. Interest in dub and it's mutant step-children has certainly grown.

One good Dub Reggae band that I came across was through the internet tv-series: The Scene... Here they are, available for legal free internet download: Ital Roots Players (http://music.download.com/irp/3600-8835-100664542.html?tag=quickurl)
