"Oh dear, Oh dear, Oh dear" cried the White Rabbit, as he whizzed around
town on his 1989 Yamaha XJ600, "What is a poor little bunny to do, when
the nice man at the garage says that my little bunny-bike needs new
shockies and a back tyre and a new exhaust and a new steering head and
new brake discs, what should a bunny do?"
And the little white bunny scurried off to the nice man at Thunderbike,
where he gazed in awe and wonder at a Triumph Bonneville Black, and he
spoke to the nice man there, "please mister nice man, could a little
white bunny take one of those big bikes for just a liitle ride?"
And the nice man smiled at the little white bunny, and said "Sure thing
dude".
And so the little white bunny took it for a spin down the motorway, and
gave the nasty policeman a one-paw salute 'cos he was on the other side
of the barrier, and zoomed along at 120k's, and the little bunny
chuckled merrily to himself and said "Whoopy forking doo, this is good
fun, I shall have to save up my carrots and get one of these".
Actually, the little white bunny rather liked the Triumph Tiger, but
decided that he would have to win a LOT of carrots in the Lotto before
he could buy a bike like that.
And so the little white bunny went home to his floating burrow, and
dreamed of a new career in robbing banks, 'cos there are lots of carrots
in a bank.
This is courtesy of a relative of mine, after reading it I just had to post it... he's dreaming that the man on the moon will drop a new Trumpy off on his doorstep... and yep he is a kber, altho has never posted (even after much prodding by me).
His name is XJman, so a big welcome to the old fart from the city of sun.
