If the weather gods smile on us this sat (11th August)I am planning on going for a bit of a ride south (for a change)
Meet Bp Silverdale 9am
Then second meeting at Bp Botney (chapel rd) about 10
leave about 10:30
Pace wont be too crazy as I will have the missus on the back and its been a while since ive been on the Bus

Would love to join you but it's the Ulysses Remembrance Run this weekend and that takes priority for us.
There will be at least one large group of bikes heading southeast as a consequence but you should miss them if you go with the times mentioned.
Maybe next time.

If the group was being lead by a gixer 1000 2 up then yes that was us.
Thanks Brian for organising the ride it was great, alot of roads which i had never riden b4, the wind up on those ridges sucked abit though, the pace was good. I look forward to the next one.

What a great day out, nice number of bikes, nice pace and good company! Thanks for the timely reminder about lube Archer, will make sure I remember to pack some for next time :yes:
Another thing to remember is never order a cheeseburger for lunch, cos it takes ages to get made and you feel a prat being the last to be munching.....LOL
Saw a couple of other KBers out and about too, oh and boomer :love:

Thanks for a great day. Sorry I bailed at Huntly, but I felt like ass. I ended up putting on all my wet weather gear, got home crawled into bed still in my gear :shutup: It was one of the longest nana rides back to Akl.
Damn flu.
Hope everyone had fun after gassing up. Will be better for the next one :yes:

top day for a ride huh! we made it down to Waihi to meet Kiwifruit, DMNTD, Gordie Cajun and his partner..
i gave the learn to 'em all :rockon:
our little 'welcome to auckland kiwifruit' group was .. beyond, Enigma, Vixter, Dover and moi.

It was interesting seeing some of you AKL buggers and finally putting faces to the names. The day was all good and although I only say you guys at the stops, I still had fun. :scooter: We got a wee bit damp on the way home, but that has its advantages :innocent:

And we saw you turn left to go to puke but i was low on gas so headed to Bombay BP..then home from there, fuck that motorway is a drag,
