A Hanoi, Vietnam court has sentenced a man to death by firing squad for murdering his girlfriend. Enraged after she refused to ride on the back of his motorbike, To Van Tuan repeatedly stabbed his lover Le Thi Them with a knife on a Ho Chi Minh City street.

He was sentenced to death by the southern business capital's People's Court.
