Was with the police (not a cop myself) on Fri (3rd Aug) and two bikers from Kapiti, A Harley and a Jap Sportbike were pursued by police around Greys road at speeds up to 170kmh. The Harley lost controlled and binned it. Not hurt apparently. Later caught the Jap bike and rider hiding up driveway. Kiwibiker members i wonder?

What were you doing with the police? Are you having a look to see what it's like, or are you a law student doing the class where you have to ride along with them for a night? You were in another car and heard it on the radio?

Friend is in traffic unit. Often go out as an 'observer' on weekends. Great fun! We heard it over radio, were called to block Paekakariki Hill Road in case they came that way from Greys Road. But it was over before we got there.

it was me. i was taking the gn250 in a harley frame that was on tardme last week for a test ride.
