Gidday, I have an RZ350 that I have had from new, it was in good shape until I left it in my garage for 10 years, now it is kind of sad. I'm after a front guard, both exhaust pipes, maybe a tank if it's in really good condition and any other bits like gaskets, engine parts etc. So many of these were raced and rolled back in the 80's there must be some parts that survived the wreckage!

I have a nice left hand tail fairing you can have. Its for the later model 350, i suppose yours is the K model though?
your welcome to it anyway. I can post a picture if you want to check it out first.

And I have all the original plastic in unmarked condition thanks - except for the front guard, got some spare side covers and stuff but they are really knocked around and painted white.

Hi there,
I have a complete RZ350 in reasonable nick, and spare tank (with a few rust holes, needs repar).
I bought it as a commuter/fun bike but had a few problems. Have done a run 2-up from Wellington to Palm Nth and it ran like a dream, but it died on the way back. Have since had the coils rewound as i was told the problem was likely due to the windings. Bike went well for another couple of short runs but died again and left me stranded. I have not bothered to keep spending money on it (was over $600 for the coil) and so it's been sitting, covered, outside.
I was planning on keeping it as a project bike, but have not really got the resources & gear to get stuck in. Have considered passing it to a family member who will be more inclined to do something with it, but it might be worth something to some of you, either as parts (nooooooooo!) or hopefully a complete project bike.
I appreciate the classic nature of these machines so I'm not going to give it away for next to nothing, but it really deserves an owner who can pay a bit more attention than I'm able to give.
I'm off out of the country in March 2009 so need to find a home for it by then. If you have any interest, email me gregblanchard.nz@gmail.com and I can provide more detail/photos.
Cheers
G.
